If you are aged 65 or over or you have any of the following
conditions you are entitled to have a NHS flu vaccination.
Chronic Respiratory Disease such as Asthma or COPD
Chronic Heart Disease
Chronic Renal Disease
Immunosuppression
Diabetes
Chronic Liver Disease
Pregnant
Resident in a care home
Main carer of elderly or disabled**

You are entitled to have a shingles vaccination if you fit the following criteria:
You were born between:
2nd September 1944 and 1st September 1945
2nd September 1943 and 1st September 1944
2nd September 1942 and 1st September 1943
2nd September 1936 and 1st September 1937
2nd September 1935 and 1st September 1936
Please note that people in the 50-64-year old age group will NOT be vaccinated until November and December, providing there is sufficient vaccine, and no appointments will be offered for this age group until then. This is to ensure that those who are most at risk are vaccinated first. If you are 50-64 and you are in one of the other groups which is eligible for the flu vaccination, for example you have a health condition which puts you at risk from the flu, you will be invited earlier.
